Dorothy G. Hill, age 92, of Bristol, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. She was born on January 25, 1932, to the late David and Pearl Kromer. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hill, Sr.; several brothers and sisters; and grandchildren, John Hill and Stacy Warren.Dorothy attended Pleasant View United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of a bowling league. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Dorothy never met a stranger. She would help anyone in need. She will be dearly missed.Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donna Leon (John), Donny Hill, Jr. (Christine) and Robert Hill; grandchildren, Daniel Hill, Crystal Mullins, Tammy Lee and Tonia Peaks; 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.A committal service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Mountain View Cemetery beginning at 3:00 PM with Pastor Vann Seal officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Dorothy.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Caris Hospice and NHC of Bristol, VA for all the kind and compassionate care shown to Dorothy during her time of need.Online condolences for the family may be sent and viewed by visiting www.BlevinsCares.com.
