William Arthur Puckett

William "Bill" Arthur Puckett, age 75, of Bristol, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at his home. He was born on September 27, 1948, to Kathleen Puckett and the late Joe Puckett. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Darlene Puckett Smith; second wife, Donna Sherman Puckett; daughter, Leslie Jean Puckett Canipe; and brother-in-law, Allen Roark.Bill graduated from John S. Battle High School in 1966. After high school, he attended technical college where he received his welding certificate. In 1985, he began working with his father at the family business, I-81 Lawn and Garden. Bill also enjoyed motorcycles and Nascar racing. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed.Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Connie Lee (Erick); step son, Ron Sherman; mother, Kathleen Puckett; grandchildren, Aliese Bonn (Todd), Sarah Reagan (Chase), Brittany Lucas (Joey) Madison Lee, and Korbin Sherman; step grandchildren, Austin Carr and Ron Sherman Jr.; great grandchildren, Jada Reagan, Lexi Williams, Kolten Williams, Gavin Reagan and Kavik Bonn; sister, Barbara Roark; son in law, Rob Canipe; special friends, Charlotte and Lee Shope; and a host of friends.A gathering for friends and family will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Blevins Funeral Home.A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum with Pastor Scott Price officiating.
